Professional Experience
After two years' professional experience in International Business Law in South-East Asia for the French Ministry of the Economy and Finance, Benoit was admitted to the Paris Bar and began practicing as a lawyer with the Hascoët law firm where he acquired expertise in insurance law and related litigations. In 2015, he joined the Perreau Avocats law firm where he acts as an expert in construction law, construction insurance and industrial risks on behalf of owners, builders, project managers, design offices, technical controllers and their insurers (decennial and civil liability, damage insurance, construction risk), in the context of out-of-court settlements, legal expertise, and proceedings before state courts or arbitration authorities.
He contributes to the firm's expansion by ensuring the training of junior associates and overseeing legal monitoring.
With a keen appreciation of both the law and technical fields, he has become an expert in industrial issues (gas, wastewater treatment plants), with a particular focus on renewable energies (methanization, photovoltaics).
He is also a member of the Forum of Insurance Law, and co-founder member of PVYAP (Paris Very Young Arbitration Practitioners) since 2012.
He practices in French, English and Italian.
